During a 6 km ramble through the heart of vineyards surrounded by pine groves, wild garrigue and vines, lovers of wine and countryside will discover and ‘taste’the terroir from which spring the fine La Clape wines.
This year, some 1000 lovers of the good things of life are expected to join in this tour.
Each rambler will be given a small bag to hang round his neck containing a wine glass, place setting, tasting notes and straw hat before embarking on a convivial outing that will be punctuated by six gastronomic breaks. In total, over 40 AOC Languedoc-La Clape wines will be presented by independent producers and caves cooperative.
At the end of the ramble, participants will be able to buy the wines they have tasted at trade price.
Marc Schwall of Narbonne’s ’Les Cuisiniers Cavistes’restaurant will be preparing the typically Mediterranean gastronomic delights.
